What would be the best model of raspberry for the following project?

Just working from the thread title...why would the RPF want to be associated with such a thing in the first place?

It's been many years since I saw graffiti high up on buildings, under bridges and other such inaccessible places and speculated we would see the place being uglyfied by quad copters one day.

I guess that day has finally come. I hope the kids that do this get long prison sentences

Could make this less reliant on cherry pickers

How long before drones can do it safer and faster than humans?

Could a robotic Pi-powered spider man that can climb up walls be more reliable. Could the robotic spider chase the drones away as well? Or catch them in a web?

With art, one-of-a-kind works of human expression are somehow valued more than mass produced copies.

yeah.. all these street art must disappear, including the people making still a living out of guiding tourists here through the city to show them some of the classics which still exist.. Guess what, most of those pictures were painted illegally back then and now, even some conservative politics here acknowledge that this makes the city a nicer place to be. Some of those artists even get payed now to paint walls legally.. What a world, we should sent them all to jail.

Btw. you don't need a drone to get high ugly pictures on buildings and walls.. A fire extinguisher filled with ink and re-pressured will do it as well. Indeed IMO those look mostly ugly as well.. So we might see better results by using drones who knows.

IMO, probably none. Drone control needs realtime capacities which can't be accomplished by most SBCs. There are drone projects, where a HAT with a mcu does the real time heavy lifting and the RPi's computational power is used for 'scripted' flying, e.g there are python based ones. https://dojofordrones.com/raspberry-pi-drone/). SBCs with a PRU (e.g. beagle bone) might do it without any support.

But the drone video you show looks IMO more like a 3d printer which gets pressured to the wall with some help of a fan.. So I'm not sure that this is actually how it should be built. ;)

Came across a Pi application that used a Picamera and IR tracking LED.
The Pi triggered the spray can when it was in the right spot.
The human was only in the loop as biological robot arm for waving the can around
