How to mount a DOCKER container to LxPanel

Fri Oct 11, 2019 10:06 am

Hi

How to mount a DOCKER container to LxPanel ??

**

I am running a cluster of 4 * RaspBerries Pi.

I am running DOCKER engine (19.3) in SWARM mode including the following containers::

WordPress
Ningx
MySQL

For convenience I want to use LxPanel to acces my containers.

How do I mount the DOCKER containers for use with LxPanel

I know very little of LXDE but I suppose you can create some sort of applet that performs something like "docker service your-service-name create" (and "service rm") to start the service?

As far as accessing it, it all depends on what you've configured the network like. I assume components would be accessible via "localhost", probably also under the IP address of the node(s) in the swarm.

Some hints can be found here:

https://docs.docker.com/storage/bind-mounts/

How access the mount from LxPanel ?

Look forward to a solution

I am afraid I don't understand. Can't you go to the path in question using the file navigator on your Desktop?

In order to answer my question basic understanding of DOCKER is required.

Including the relation between: images, containers, volumes, binds and mount.
