Raspberry Pi 3 B+ supply?

Thu Oct 10, 2019 5:00 pm

I'm trying to find sources for the Raspberry Pi 3 B+, and although I can find sources, many of the distributors are out of stock, or have the product on backorder with no word on how long it will take to fulfill. If I recall correctly, I believe I saw an announcement stating that this model would be in production until mid-2021, has that changed, or did I mis-read something?

You forget to mention what country you reside in....

My apologies for not being more clear, I'm in the US. I'll review the links posted in the thread.

I have written to Pimoroni. They have a policy to deliver only the last model.
But they told me that even if they wanted, currently all production resources are 100% booked to produce the 4 and the Zero.
The 3b+ is currently in backorder but will be delivered again. When is unclear.

Adafruit seems to have them: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3775

Vilros as well: https://vilros.com/collections/raspberr ... otherboard
My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?

Wow there does appear to be a big shortage of 3B+ in North America. Adafruit is limiting it to 2 per customer and Vilros is limiting it to 1. Newark, Allied, and Arrow are all out of stock. Newark, who often has thousands in stock, says 20 expected November 7th and more not coming until February.
