I can not even find a build anymore, nor is there much information in the trackers for AROS.
A while ago there were a few threads here about a version of AROS that runs native on Raspberry Pi hardware, it only needed USB support to become usable last I heard. It has been years now, has there been any update on the Raspberry native port of AROS that anyone knows of?
I am aware of the Linux Hosted version, I am looking for the native version status.
This shows a loyalty of many to a great OS. Since the current holders of the Intellectual Property are keeping Amiga OS closed source the Amiga community created a replacement that is still being developed and maintained. I can only think of one other example of this, as most of the old systems that are still being updated are the result of the source being released under some open source license or another (DR GEM released by Caldera, CP/M open sourced, RISC OS was shared source now open, etc).
There is definitely something about Amiga OS, actually a lot of somethings.
