RPI3 random Hangs.

I've been having this problem for a while and to no avail have I been able to track down the source of this problem. I've migrated to Raspbian Stretch and still getting this same hard to describe accurately problem.

I've found this viewtopic.php?f=28&t=156287 post today and looked with much excitement in /etc/environment for LD_PRELOAD only to find the file empty.

Just wondering if anyone else is suffering random hangs from their Raspberry Pi and has cracked it?

I’m running a few continually running python scripts. I’m wondering if I’m blowing a number of processes.

ulimit

looks promising but there’s not a great deal of working numbers on what I could set it to and then the ramifications of when the limits are hit.
