Control Windows PC by GPIO

Thu Dec 28, 2017 9:35 am

Goodmorning everyone!
I need to simulate 3 keyboard keys on Windows via 3 raspberry GPIOs.
Has anyone got to work on this problem?
Virtually these 3 buttons command a software that runs exclusively on Windows. When I push one of these 3 buttons from the outside, the same command on the physical keyboard would have to arrive on windows.

Can you help me?

Probably the most elegant solution is to use a Pi Zero or Zero W connected to the PC USB acting as an OTG USB HID Gadget acting as a keyboard. No need for any additional hardware or GPIO control.
