Is it possible that you can PM me the PCB-Files for the LQ092B5DW01 + BOM , cause if the "only" thing you need for it to work is software dependent, then mabye I can try to do some testing on that part, and see if i can find the right settings for it?

Hi,
nice proposal  so, let me make another one!

1) look at these two links: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... /README.md and http://www.pollin.de/shop/downloads/D120858D.PDF.
The first will direct you to the RPi DPI description, the second to the LQ092B5DW01 data sheet.
2) Spend some time on designing your own PCB, get it manufactured, assembled and tested

Ahh, btw:

timing is still not perfect but I'm nearly there. The PCB to the right (blue one) is a Step-Up for generating 18V BL voltage, the smaller green one is an adapter PCB for the displays FPC connector (Backlight is 10-pol FPC connector).

Made a first test with RPi3 as host - looks good (sorry for bad picture quality; intend to prepare a short demo video latest tomorrow).

Picture shows typical setup; now time to start and prepare a suitable BL driver PCB

Have you prepared a suitable BL driver PCB yet? Cause mabye I'll like to buy 4 of them ;-)

Simpelst BL driver is a resistor in the backlight supply. I'm using a step-up DC/DC (http://www.banggood.com/XL6009-Step-Up- ... mds=search) to get 19V for BL supply (white only, red is not used atm), limiting the current to 125mA with a series resistor.

I'm in design phase at the moment, testing my concept. I will have tow driver chips (one for red @12V and one for white @19V) which can be controlled by PWM. It will have a FH28-series connector for the BL FPC, but I'm aiming to use it for other modules as well (that's why all 8 strings will be available from test points in addition).

I have not started layouting it yet. First I want to make shure the concept idea for BL control is working. I will post all info to the 9.2in display here viewtopic.php?f=41&t=166561

Hello,
I'd be interested to hear more about the PCB you've designed for it.
Can we discuss about it ?
I need this type of kit for my project
