Display with Raspberry pi Model B Rev 2.0

Tue Sep 15, 2015 8:46 pm

Hello,
the display does not work when i try it with my Raspberry pi Model B Rev 2.0. In the description, I see that the display should in theory work with the older model. Is there any thing i should be checking (like a new Ribbon Cable) before going for a new B+ model?
Thanks in Advance,
Regards
Krish

Actually it's slightly more involved than that, on the rev 2 hardware you'll need to connect SDA/SCL to the GPIO with the flying jumper wires, but I've not finished documenting how to do this!

HELLO Gordon,
you'll need to connect SDA/SCL to the GPIO
must i connect SDA/SCL to Pin 3 and 5 on the RPI GPIO-header?
Is that all or must i do more?
On my RPI 2 the display works fine, on my B (rev 1 +2) not,
i have done apt-get update , apt-get upgrade and rpi-update.
