Is there any Satnav software available ?

I've read all the in-car PC threads - I have seen if anyone knows if there is any Sat-Nav software available for Linux ?

I'm guessing that most people are using USB Sat-Nav dongles ?

Best 3G integration ?

Any thoughts ?

Not sure if any of them have been ported to Arm Debian, but a lot of them will probably be buildable without too much effort.

I'm interested in this also, but haven't tried anything yet. I think Navit is the way to go for navigation software. One approach could be to install Android 4 on Raspberry Pi (coming soon):

and then install Navit on Android:

Another approach would of course be to install Navit on Raspbian directly.

I have just installed Navit directly on the hard float wheezy Raspbian OS.
It works except for some glitching with the map data files (needs checking what can be used / not used).
Should work a treat! ... not to frigg my old tom tom touch screen as a display!

What kind of glitches have you seen?

I've also installed Navit on the 'armhf' Raspian OS (blog post), along with a GPS USB dongle, but I've got to wait for my in-car monitor to arrive before I can road test this.
