Wireless support?

Mon May 18, 2015 2:39 pm

This past weekend I successfully booted my RPi with Windows10. I was able to use my BT keyboard/mouse but W10 did not recognize my WiFi USB dongle. Is wired Ethernet the only supported network connection with the current version of W10?

This is true. The product group are currently working on porting Wi-Fi drivers to this platform. I don't have an ETA yet.

WiFi works a threat on RPi2
(using Windows NT 10.0.[build number that I don't want to say])

So are you saying that you have a prerelease version of Win10 Iot and the Wifi is working OK?

Or something else?

Can I reply to you on PM? I'm afraid if Microsoft will remove the facility if I give it publically

I would love for the Wi-Fi to work soon. I currently have to have cable stretch out across the floor to my work center. Not a good thing. Does anyone have an ETA on this?

Sorry I don't have a definite ETA yet but I don't think it will be much longer. I know the product group are actively working on this now.
