Great list!

Xmille is a card game. The goal is to hit the finish line before your opponent by using speed cards. I addition you may restrict your opponent by using car crash cars, speed limit cards etc. To resolve them there are cards that fix those limitations.

To start you need as step 1 click the card pile to get a full hand. A Go card then open up to use speed cars to move foreward. Discard a card to be able to get a new card from the pile.

Used to play this on Solaris years ago ...

Can you update the list regarding Descent I and II?

First of all, it is spelled "Descent", not "Descend" as you currently put it

Also, you don't neccesarily have to buy it. You can play the shareware version of D1 and the demo of D2 for free. I also made binary packages for raspibian (both for the game and said shareware/demo content), so the installation should be easy now. The full version of can be baught on gog,com: http://www.gog.com/game/descent_1_descent_2 (currently at $9.99 or EUR9.19 together for both).

I doubt championship manager will run effectively (or at all) if it needs Windows.

You know to install Open Arena you could just type:

I guess people don't use that because the frames-per-second count is really low .

Yeah, I tried it but it only has free-for-all maps, which on my Ubuntu laptop I typed sudo apt-get install openarena, and it had a lot more gamemodes. Is there any way to get more maps and gamemodes? thanks.

I can't remember where, but OpenArena is stored somewhere in /home/[user]/.pistore, or something like that. I myself copied the files from there to my home directory to make it easier to run.

What I am looking to do is to make a 3d printed retro video game system. I have already 3d printed all the parts for the case and I would like someone's help on showing me how the easiest way to get the Raspberry Pi programmed to play the games. In turn if you need help or need a printed 3d case or if I can do something for you I'd be more than happy to. Depends which games you like to play in general - OpenArena is quite good, especially on the Pi2, so is OpenTTD if you like that kind of thing (but don't make your map too big if you do play it), but you should try out a few and see what you like best

Last year, I started making a YouTube series called Raspberry Pi DOS Game Test where I test various DOS games with RPix86.

Games I've tested so far:

- Bio Menace - Works (Slow music)
- Hocus Pocus - Works (No noticeable issues)
- Chip's Challenge - Crashes when the player reaches the third level
- Sword of the Samurai - Works (No noticeable issues)
- Alone in the Dark - Works (Use default sound blaster settings to avoid any major frame rate issues)
- Wolfenstein 3D - Works (Noticeable sound issues and delayed controls)

I've recently started taking requests, so if anyone wants me to test out a DOS game and record the results, just give me a shout.

Some more new games for raspberry pi:
- The abbey of crime extensum (La abadía del crimen extensum) (java required and raspberry pi 2 or 3), launch it with this command like this:

- Vorton (highway encounter remake), fixed and compiled for raspberry pi 2.
- Maldita Castilla, They need to be feed and Super Crate Box for raspberry pi (raspbian jessie needed).
- Lpairs (easy compiling).

All these games runs very fine and fluid, only The abbey of crime is a bit slower booting, but it manages complete fluid in game (all tested on my raspberry pi 2).
