Hi I applied for the original 1st and 2nd of Sept dates, do I need to reapply for the new dates? If not do you know when we will hear if we have a place or not?

You do not need to re-apply, you will be informed after the deadline via email of the status of your application.

The Picademy is free so schools only have to pay for travel and accommodation.

It's the best CPD I've done!

The next picademy will be 16th - 17th February 2015. We are accepting applications for a place now and hope to inform successful candidates during January.

The application form for the next Picademy (number 8 if you are counting) is open. The dates are 27th - 28th April 2015. Please complete the application form if you want to come and know you will be able to attend!

doesn't look like this thread is maintained, but there's a Picademey going on right now in Toronto. No idea where, just hear about it yesterday.

There's also a Raspberry Jam at North York Public Library tomorrow evening that the local Raspberry Pi user group only heard about today … le sigh.
