I'm in Sheffield too, and would be interested. How about the University Arms just off Brook Hill Roundabout?

I'm probably short of confidence. new language etc. had a good time at a recent Nottingham meeting which helped somewhat. I'm an oldPC user used to windows and dos.tzj wrote:@ puddle247 what do you need help with?.

I went to the meet and it was great! Nice mix of people, from software engineers to general geeks to a couple of IT teachers. Several folks brought their kid along, one of them was leading a breakout session on using a Pi as a 3d printer controller! Lots of fun was had trying to control an arduino, program games in scratch and generally playing around.ASpotySpot wrote:I know I'm late to the party but I'd be interested.
Rotherham here.
Edit: After seeing there was already a meet on GistHub I was wondering how it went and if anything further was planned?
There's a Sheffield pi jam on the last Wednesday of every month 6:30 pm at the gist hub in the city center... that's the only south Yorkshire meet I know of atm.Jbo wrote:I am in Sheffield and would just like to know if there is a group of people meeting up? And if yes could I join? I am a bit behind, just got my Pi a few days ago
