Height is ~22 mm. That is from the top of the stacked USB to the bottom of the SD-card.
Assuming the ~22mm height is for Model B ("stacked USB"), we really do need to carve up the Altoids' lid a bit, hopefully only on the edges. ( I have just verified that a standard Altoids box is 20mm high with lid closed.)
If no cans get in the way, a Model A might still fit inside an Altoids box.
