Hi.
I currently have a Raspberry PI B with Raspbian, but I'm thinking of switching to FreeBSD.
Right now, the RPI is connected to a hard drive along with the SD. The /boot is in the SD where I have modified the /boot/config.txt file so that the rest of the system is on the HDD. In this way, only the SD is used for the boot and the rest of applications is in the HD, this way the SD does not have as much use, lengthening the life of this one.
So, my question is if this can be done in FreeBSD, because if it does, it would change to FreeBSD.
I comment, because I am testing with another SD that I have installed FreeBSD and if I edit the file /boot/msdos/CONFIG.txt I do not see the site where I would have to add or modify to indicate that the rest of the system is on the HDD. am looking for information on this and I can not find anything
Can it be done??
Thanks for everything
PS: If this could be done, I comment, because I am thinking of changing the RPI for an RPI 3
