Help mouse lag and window lag

Wed Nov 09, 2016 3:54 pm

After visting some posts of this forum I have fixed the mouse lag by typing usbhis/mousepoll=0. However, it turned out the windows are so lag when I try to drag it. How could I solve this

What model of Pi are you using? What OS are you using? Is your OS image current?

If you are using a compositing window manager, then try a stacking window manager.

If you are using a stacking window manager (more likely), which one? They are not all equal.

What is running, including any background processes?

The easier answer may be to the question:
What OS are you using. Assuming you are using the standard desktop environment and window manager of the OS then it would be easy to determine what the trouble may be, though only if we know which OS.

I agree that the window lag is very noticeable since the upgrade to pixel. I'm using a pi 3 with a new image: moving a window of any reasonable size is very, very laggy. Never used to be, before pixel.
