Component layout

Hello community.

Is there any restriction in placing components under the CM3+ module?
Just need to lay some resistors and caps.

Thanks for your help!

In what respect? I would think it depends on how far the connector is higher than the board and surface vs through hole components...

The balenaFin v1.1 (pic 6 here) has lots of support circuits under the Pi - are you worried about heat / noise / distance to / from the Pi?
Need Pi spray - these things are breeding in my house...

Hello Andy.

Just worried about noise pick up.
The the components are maily resistors are mainly resistors that carry a PWM signal (low freq) for driving a MOSFET, some decoupling caps in the VBAT, 3V3, 1V8 and VDAC pins and two resistors connected in series with the UART0 pins.
No space issue here since all packages are SMD0805 and SMD1206.

I see in the balenaFin there are decoupling caps underneath the CM3 module.

Thanks for your input!
