Think your 5 pack price may be wrong at £55 when 2 pack is £21

Tried to read those docs... I understand that it is possible to upload arduino sketches into this from Raspi. And then it works like normal Arduino.

But is it possible to discuss (change data) with Raspi and RasPiO? Connecting normal Arduino to Raspi is pretty trivial using USB, so it is possible to do measurements in Arduino and then get the results and process them in Raspi. Is it possible to do the same with this and how complex it is (there is no USB in the RasPiO board)?

you can connect via terminal by leaving the RX and TX jumpers connected, see page 41 onwards of the manual.

You may have noticed in the LDR_LED circuit diagram that I sneaked in two extra connections
unannounced. I'm talking about the Rx-Tx and Tx-Rx jumpers. You didn't actually need them for
the previous sketch, but you will for this one because they connect the serial ports of the ATMEGA
and the Pi so that they can communicate with each other.
