Powering with USB hub

Sat Jun 21, 2014 11:51 am

Hello,

I want to add a powered USB hub for my Pi, and power it with the hub. I was thinking of this hub.
Do I have to add a USB > Micro USB cable to power it?

Use its micro USB connector for supplying it. Otherwise, you bypass internal protection circuit.
