VNC connection has root priviledges

Wed May 21, 2014 7:58 am

I've configured TightVNC as per the instructions in the help section, and it worked very well, but for the fact that my VNC session is as 'root' - which strikes me as dangerous for a noob!

How do I specify an ordinary user account for the VNC connection?

Yes, running as root is not a good idea. Try,
