AFAIAA Brother DCP7065DN requires the brlaser package:

https://github.com/pdewacht/brlaser

https://packages.debian.org/buster/prin ... er-brlaser

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
sudo apt install brlaser

You should remove anything you have already installed which did not come from the Raspbian Repositories......

I find CUPS admin page a little confusing so thanks to another poster now a different printer install GUI:

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
sudo apt install system-config-printer
adieu

My other Computer is an Asus CS10 ChromeBit running Chrome Operating System.
HP Envy 4500 Wireless Printer supported by HPLIP software in Raspbian Buster.
Raspberry Pi Model 2B v1.1
