Hi,

I am using Pi2. With Chromium Facebook is terribly slow and with other browsers like Midori the page is wrongly displayed I mean page is messed up.

Which browser do you use to browse Facebook ?

Hi,

I wouldn't use FB on a RPI (I have the new 3 B+ version). I actually stopped using it after I had my RPI. I tried, but it's one of those web sites (and the Internet is littered with them) that cripple a small system like the RPI. It just shows how hard they try to track and run various Java like programs under the bonnet. Actually FB on one my less powerfull PC's can just cause performance issue. Chromium is a hog in itself anyway.

If this helps......

Richard

@RIchlion2

Yes you are totally correct FB is too heavy for a Pi.
Now that I use my Pi as my daily driver I miss FB a lot.

Short answer... No.

Slightly longer answer... I don't use Facebook at all. I don't even have an account on it.

No, I use my fairly hi-end laptop for FB. Sometimes it makes the fan cut in slowly. I wouldn't bother trying it on a Pi, I have more serious things to do with those.

Ditto. Best thing I did was cancelling my Faceborg assimilation and leaving that Borg collective.

I'm quite surprised that any of the forum regulars are willing to admit that they even know what faceblob is, much less, that they (some of them) actually use it.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

I mostly to use it to keep in contact with certain members of my family and my large circle of friends that I don't see on a regular basis.
