Running script in Gnome-schedule

Sat Mar 10, 2018 9:33 pm

In /home/pi/Documents I have a gnuplot script which runs fine at the command prompt w/o sudo when logged in as user pi.
Script is owned by pi in group root.
Using Gnome-schedule GUI from the System Tools menu, I am unable to get it to run, with this format for the command:

Code: Select all

/usr/bin/gnuplot /home/pi/Documents/GenerateMultipleGraphsPi.gp
I'm assuming a permissions issue here but can't see what I am missing.

Try changing the group ownership of the file

Code: Select all

chgrp pi /home/pi/Documents/GenerateMultipleGraphsPi.gp
