How to use "go get" command in terminal?

Sun Jul 16, 2017 10:05 am

As part of the package installation instructions, this line must be typed in the terminal:

go get -u -v -tags all github.com/blevesearch/bleve/..

However, the terminal states that the go command is unknown. So how to use go get command?

Which package and which instructions? We are not mind readers.

The use of "go" suggests that you might need the "go" language installed. If the instructions don't tell you to do that I'm not sure how good the rest of them are.

You will need Go (golang) installed for that.

Currently downloading Golang. I'll tell you the results once it is done.

I would suggest to install Go the usual (Raspbian) way:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install golang

Return to “Beginners”
