raspi-config

Sun Jul 22, 2012 1:04 pm

I got my Pi on Friday and got it working last night with the new Raspbian image.

Every time I boot it it says the software hasn't been fully configured and I should run raspi-config. So I do and it downloads files and extracts things and doesn't report any errors. It ends up saying '0 upgraded, 0 installed... and 10 not upgraded'. Why?

I searched the forum (and Raspbian.org) for raspi-config but no joy.

Thanks.

Run sudo raspi-config and then selection "finish".

You're right I haven't done that before. After it runs it goes back to the text screen so this time I've re-entered raspi-config and selected update and finish. I hope that will sort it. Thanks.
