Volume Control?

Tue May 05, 2015 8:31 pm

Is there any way to adjust the volume on Raspbian? I have a Rasp Pi 2 B with video connected to DVI and audio connected to amplified speakers through the combo audio port. Volume on music and video is very low - barely audible and does not increase with on screen volume controls on what is playing it. Speakers are on and good (tested on a PC to make sure). I installed the kweb package last week for audio and video and all seemed to work right after install - but several days later now, what I describe is what I have happening.

It would be nice to have a gui volume slider somewhere on the screen.

In the command line you can use:

Code: Select all

Sudo alsamixer
Just use the arrows to change the volume. ;)

I use the mplayer volume parameter.
