Geen Python in startmenu ?

Fri Oct 18, 2019 1:07 pm

How do I open Python idle on Raspberry Pi?
Open IDLE by selecting the Raspberry Pi logo in the top-left, and click Programming > Python 3 (IDLE). You should be presented with the Python interactive interpreter.

(Please excuse an off-topic reply in English.)

IDLE has been removed from the Raspbian Operating System.

Use Thonny instead.

We’ve been including the excellent Thonny Python development environment in Raspbian for some time now. In this release, it’s now our default Python editor, and to that end, we are no longer including IDLE by default. IDLE has always felt dated and not very pleasant to use, and Thonny is so much nicer that we’d strongly recommend moving to it, if you haven’t already!

Or install IDLE3 yourself, and add it back to the menus.

That explains everything! Thank you.

How do I install IDLE and add it to the menu?
I tried with apt-get python ..... then I get a reply that the latest version already has been installed.
But i can't get it into the start menu

Sorry for all these questions! I'm a beginner beginner ... Searched on the internet, but didn't find the answer.
Maybe because i'm dutch and don't know what to type for a correct search
