Reading CPU temperature and similar info

Tue Nov 27, 2018 10:36 pm

Folks,

I was meaning to read the temperature of the CPU with the "vcgencmd measure_temp" command.

I have two questions:

1) Should I be using such commands in FreeBSD, or should I read such values via sysctl, instead (or via something else)?

2) I installed FreeBSD from <https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/snapsh ... 622.img.xz> on a RPI B+. Then tried to build raspberry-userland from the ports tree (/usr/ports/misc/raspberrypi-userland), but got:

raspberrypi-userland-20161026 is only for armv6 armv7, while you are running aarch64

... should I have installed FreeBSD from a different image?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Fernando
