Hello, I was able to get the image for raspberry pi 2 from this site, http://www.raspbsd.org/raspberrypi.html, to boot successfully. The image is of FreeBSD-armv6-12.0. The issue I am having is a networking issue. I have the computer connected via ethernet cable to my router, however I can not see the device on my network when I run arp -a from my macbook. When I try to ping valid IP address (8.8.8.8), the response is "ping: sendto: No route to host".

Forgive me, but I am on the road right now, will be home shortly, at which time I will post some more intel such as the output from netstat -r as well as the contents of the /etc/rc.conf. I just wanted to get this message out to the world and see if I can get any responses. Any help would be appreciated.

thank you in advance for your advice!

Does your /etc/rc.conf contain

ifconfig_DEFAULT="DHCP"

What output do you get from

ifconfig
