Sourcing Controllers

Wed Jun 05, 2013 5:54 pm

Hey all,

I'm thinking about doing a tutorial of old school gaming, but that obviously is better with a controller.

1.) NES paddles, if they can still be easily gotten for most people (the interfacing is a little project in itself).

2.) Second thought was using a Wiimote because most people have them and bluetooth dongles are fairly easy to get.

3.) X360 because well it's already USB.

What do you all think?

You could try building a custom controller that connects to the pi via either serial of gpio!
I'm happy to help.
