Finding a Good Screen

Hello all,

I've been searching and searching for an affordable and ideally sized screen that I can use for a portable system but I'm just not finding what I'm looking for. Most of what I've seen is touchscreen or 3.5" and under. What I'm really looking for is something in the 4.5" range like a 3DS XL (4.88). I've seen cheap replacement screen for the PSP but haven't found anything on how to run it from a Pi. I've also seen some nice stuff from Adafruit but again I'm looking for cheap solutions and most of that stuff is around $50-$60.

Can anyone recommend a portable friendly screen in the 4 to 6 inch range that I can use with my Raspberry Pi 3 and point me in the right direction for hooking it up?

I've done some further poking around and I came across this screen which is reasonably priced, but I'm new to using displays with microcontrollers so I'm not sure all that I would need to do to get this screen to work and how much cost would be associated with it.

I also decided to do some poking around Instructables and found these:

The first one uses a really cheap screen, which seems to be just what I've been looking for. The screen used here is 480x272 resolution and the RCA hookups are used to send the video feed. I didn't realize the jack provides video as well so this is perfect because I've found another 5" screen for around the same price that is 800x480 and assuming I can power it, this would be awesome.

The other two start to get more expensive, but they are options.
