I've been testing this for two days now. But I ran windows 95 on qemu then run ROBLOX. But I need Internet connectivity through qemu and ROBLOX runs off of servers so it wouldn't be to slow.

I would love if someone figured out how to mod the roblox player so that it would run on a raspberry pi 3.(Though it would probably get the roblox account banned)

Windows 10 IoT Core is not a desktop OS, it is an embedded OS for the Internet of Things. It can run UWP apps from the store, and ROBLOX is in the Windows Store as a UWP app but is only available for x86.

Playing a mobile port of a game on an SBC is not going to be very usable.

FST0Pportal only stated he wanted to "run on a raspberry pi 3" which actually is not feasible if one wants to be pedantic.

Therefore as one requires an Operating System, Android appeared to be an obvious choice as Roblox has an Android App..

If you could offer a better alternative then I am sure it would be more constructive than whinging about my response or bemoaning about the Forum Server.

WOA Deployer?
LineageOS for Pi?
That is what I call oppurtunities:

WOA Deployer lets you install Windows 10, not the junk Win10 IoT, full Windows 10. It's a complicated process though, involving building your own dumped Windows 10 ISO file so you can extract a quintessential file for WOA Deployer.

PINN, a customized version of NOOBS, allows you to install LineageOS, an Android fork, to your Pi. It's too simple to go from there, although I will say it didn't work on my Pi.

What about playing Roblox on a Raspberry Pi 4... I'm slightly irritated that I had to upgrade my child's laptop to Windows 10 so they could play it on that rather than their tablet. I'd like them to use non-closed source devices and learn using one of the many Raspberry Pis I have.

I was under the impression it was a browser based game.
Perhaps WebGL and now WASM?
No Linux version?

However it is done, it keeps getting better.

I assumed Roblox was a Win32 MFC app with ActiveX applets of Internet Explorer embedded with use of a special IE ActiveX plugin to interface to their servers with - at least that's what it looked like witnessing it secondhand a decade ago.

Emulating Win95 in DOSBox or something else just for Roblox would be a fruitless effort.

Perhaps it was back then but now it runs on Windows, Android and Mac, Xbox...

My kid makes games with it and I have no idea how it works
I suppose if it worked in Linux I might have found out by now?

For what it's worth: apparently can run on Windows 7 or later, Mac 10.7 or later, Android, Chrome OS, but not Linux per se.

Roblox error code 277 was killing me.
What I did was opened logs from this path "%localappdata%\Roblox\logs"
and cleaned up the directory.
Source: https://www.hows.tech/2019/06/fix-roblo ... ws-10.html

Make sure to clean this also
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\RbxLogs\

Logs sometimes mess up the performance.
