Gstreamer : strange artifact @ 1080 > 5 fps

Wed Jun 05, 2013 6:54 am

Hello guys,

I made some test using Gstreamer 1.0 and the omx plugin on raspberry. I'm getting a RTSP Stream (1080p@10fps) and I can observe some artifact on my display stream (looks like memory corruption). If I increase the fps, it will increase also the artifacts.

I had a look on the CPU usage, and it's under 70%.

What can I do to resolve this problem ?

What gstreamer command-line are you using to stream, and what client are you using to view it?

it cant be packet lost its on my local network with a rtsp server that provide a custom stream for me (videotestsrc with customizable fps and resolution). im using a playbin with eglglesink as renderer (sync=false).

its working perfectly under 5 fps but start to "vibrate" upper. i didn't see these artefacts in MPEG4.
