video_decode

Wed Jan 30, 2013 8:49 pm

Hi,

Been thumping my head over the openmax video_decode component for a few weeks now, no luck, when i eventually got the component to give me an buffer filled with a result, it was just garbage.

Does anybody have an example that I could study, one that takes in one input from a buffer and delivers it decoded into another buffer, without tunnels? It would be greatly appeciated... :)

I don't know an example that does exactly what you want, but omxtx - https://github.com/dickontoo/omxtx - has code that empties the buffer of an encoder component. Perhaps that could be helpful?

Perhaps if either of you posted your current code, others could look.

Hi,
This is exactly what I am looking for too, and haven't been able to know how to do it.
Did you guys find a solution to take a buffer as input and decodes the input to another buffer?
I would appreciate if you provide some sample code.
It has been a while I am looking for this to get it working.

Thanks,
