adding aservice start delay

Wed Dec 18, 2013 12:03 pm

heres an interesting one for you,

i have apache2 and no-ip installed on my RPi along with all the other stuff like php5 and sql.
I also have a usb mounted hdd that is configured to mount at boot to the same point under the same name.

Now to use the hdd with apache i've been informed that the hdd needs to mount before apache starts, soooooo

i was wondering if its possibly to add a delay to the start of the apache service? So like the RPi boots up, mounts the hdd and 20/30 seconds after boot apache starts.

Try something like this....

http://askubuntu.com/questions/90982/ho ... -run-later

You could try the first method and if it doesn't work, the second one should.
