s2-liplianin compile anyone succeeded ?

Mon Feb 11, 2013 11:53 am

Hi,
Has anyone managed to compile the s2-liplianin package with Raspbian wheezy?
If so how did you do it?
I am trying to add support for a DVBSky S960 DVB-S2 receiver. I know it can be done
as Raspbmc supports that tuner. I have installed the source using `apt-get linux-source`
and followed DVBSky instructions on installing it but liplianin won't compile because of
missing .config files and if you ignore that error missing .h files.

I have got a bit further, the support required is for the Montage M88DS3103
device. There is a patch file in the Raspbmc distribution which I applied
to a standard 3.6.11 kernel and built it. The PI now detects the the DVBSky S960
and the little green light on the receiver comes on. However it won't lock to a
signal although it can detect the presence of the signal. So I am not there quite yet.

Don't hold your breath waiting, the OP hasn't visited the forum since February.
