jessie: openarena doesn't work?

When I try playing OpenArena (via apt-get) I get a entirely DIFFERENT error.

Start with a fresh install of Raspbian Stretch with Desktop (Jessie is no longer current)

Update Stretch

Install OpenArens

The version in repositories is 0.8.8
