I am not sure where to post this so I put it here
On the first boot of the day I get the green LED to stay on for hours (literally) and the pi is very slow during that time. I will usually reboot and then it seems to work fine. Trying to investigate I issued
and this is what came back:systemd-analyze blame
I then went on to Google and found nothing on pi but on Ubuntu and in this postpi@raspberrypi:~ $ systemd-analyze blame
58min 27.201s apt-daily.service
it was suggested that I should override the configuration of apt-daily timer
the command was
sudo systemctl edit apt-daily.timer
This opened a new file in
and created the file override.conf in which I added the following:/etc/systemd/system/apt-daily.timer.d
I rebooted and hoped that the next day would be nicer.[Timer]
Alas, the problem remains
Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
Have I done something wrong?
Is there a solution to long booting times?
