Python Webserver

Fri Jan 31, 2014 6:49 pm

What is the best way to run Python on a Webserver?

I have previously used Lighttpd and enabled CGI in the config, but every guide I've seen on doing it differs, so I'm not sure whether this method is very tried and tested. Although it has worked for me in the past, but I can't remember exactly how I set it up.

What way would you recommend? Is Lighttpd the best? If so, how should I enable CGI?

Is it your own server? Mine is owned by a friend running about 20 domains on a powerful virtual machine. it runs Apache, and its Python looks to be an older version. Looks like PHP/MySQL or nothing for me
