I got a 16x2 LCD screen, and...

I got one of those LCD screens from Adafruit (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1109), and I soldered it all. When I put it on my Pi, the Pi couldn't 'sense' it. I did the command 'sudo i2cdetect -y 1', and it didn't find anything. I did -y 0, too. I followed the instructions on learn.adafruit.com, and it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me? I really want to use this screen.

I did most of it, but not the blacklist part. There was a tutorial specially for the LCD screen on adafruit...

Do you mean you didn't do it, or do you mean you didn't need to do it? If i2c-bcm2708 is blacklisted then the I2C port isn't going to work.
The instructions for my 20 x 4 I2C board may help, but should essentially be the same as adafruits :
