Re: Where can I find ilplayer?

I want to try to play some video on my Raspberry Pi. I found this old post where somebody with a beta board was playing an HD video.

He used ilplayer that I can't find. Where can we find it?

ilplayer was just a test app.
Xbmc or omxplayer (command line player) are what"s recommended.

I just want to test... I don't want a media center.

I had a bad time trying to build Quake 3 (and after nearly a week of trying to find the right way, when I succeed, one day later, liam publish the binary). I tried to compile omxplayer,

I was unable to do it because the instruction suppose you are much better in compilation than I am (and that you have a build machine? ... I tried directly on the Raspberry Pi, a ton of thing to modify in the makefiles and a ton of time needed). Xbmc is the same thing than omxplayer.

I hope for you that this will change before the release for the kids because at this state, 20 years old is still too young for that.
