You might have mentioned it in your first post but, just out of interest, can I ask how long ago it was when you first 'Registered your interest'... not back in March I hope?

Sorry - that was remiss of me. You are quite right, I didn't register until about the second week in April. Yes, I was a bit slow to hear about all things Raspberry! :~/

so I ordered mine on day one, and STILL haven't heard anything from Newark Farnell. I've still got my order number, and the delivery date has changed more times than I care to say. Now it says July it will ship, even though they had that news post saying that all posted before that day would ship before the end of June....

Gotta love how I can't seem to find the right person to ask about this. its really depressing.

So what was your order number?  For comparison my (afternoon of day 1 order) was 164780XX, just outside the range of those who received theirs in the last week and the last email from Farnell says delivery 'week beginning 21st May'

I would point out that the Pis going out at the moment were ordered before 6.05am on the day. Also, you clearly have heard from Farnell as you have an order number and a delivery date, which is more than most people have.

Not sure that's accurate.  I ordered my Pi at 08:13 order number 164547XX and received it last Saturday.

Order Confirmation Number – this seems a reliable indicator of your place in the Farnell / Newark queue

I've seen people with 1646xxxx numbers have them in their grubbies now

I"ve got a confirmation number of 160867

and now you understand why I'm frustrated. Low number, no word at all

Dunno if this helps, but this is what I see http://i45.tinypic.com/2wrl1rk.png

well I did email them, lets see when they reply... I always feel like email is useless these days. Too many people ignore emails.

You will see different order numbers for "Farnell" companies. For example, your 6 digit number suggests you ordered from Newark/Element 14 in North America.

The 16xxxxxx numbers that you see here are UK/European(?) orders placed with Farnell.

I would still contact them but also have a look at the RasPi community at Element 14 where you may get a better feel for your place in the queue

Yes, the first 4,700 people that ordered with RS are getting theres... ie up to 6:05am. I ordered from RS at 6:10am. For Farnell orders it is very different. I ordered also with Farnell at 8:10am (my backup plan) and it's in the post!!

Has anyone with a w/c 7th May delivery date recieved their RasPi's yet?

I only ask beacuse i was given a w/c 7th May delivery date. I called Farnell this morning to check if it was being dispatched today (so i could plan around its arrival) and sales told me they have none to dispatch and my order will definatley not be dispatched this week.

Also they have no idea when i will see my RasPi. So it's gone from confirmed w/c 7th May for order number 1651****/01 to complete up in the air.

I just want to know if im the only one?

I had a w/c 7th May email and the Pi was delivered on Tuesday 8th. Many of the 7th May people had theirs before the weekend, 4th May etc. The order changing to completed is an indication that it has despatched. The package is small enough to fit through a letterbox.

Greetings from germany. :)
Anyone have some details for me how long 2nd class Royal Mail will need to arrive here?

My Pi (Farnel Ref: 16453108 Ordered 29/02 07:51) was shipped on 29/05 and now i am waiting... ^_^

The shipments seems to be a little bit random, i saw much higher ref numbers here which already got there pi. Doesn't matter, i just hope that it arrives today.

Greetings from the UK.

2nd Class Royal Mail on mainland is usually 2-3 days. I would estimate 1 extra day, 2 at the absolute most to make the trip to Germany.
