Have to laugh at their description

'Once again, thank you for being patient. We hope you’ll enjoy the limitless computing potential and enjoyment the Raspberry Pi offers.'

Errm limitless eh, the Raspberry Pi is a neat device there is no doubt but Limitless it is not, in fact quite the opposite it has limited memory and a low powered CPU limiting what it can be used for. While these limits are perfectly acceptable for the intended use, calling it limitless is a real stretch on the marketing front, surely farnell's marketing droids could come up with something better than that.

I ordered on 3rd March. Original Estimated delivery was 30th April, then I received an email saying mid May and now back end of May. I'm fairly happy with that considering I was late to the game as I didn't fully understand the process/didnt realise the huge demand!

This is so annoying!

I ordered <2hrs into the chaos. I have a a order number of 16452***, last I head was "first week of May", but now I got 21/05/2012.

How? My order number is around 10 000 less than yours for example, still I have to wait 3 weeks longer? Guess Farnell messed up…

But.. I'm to tired of this to even care anymore, Diablo 3 @ May 15 so..... No time to do teeh haxx anyway. My hopes was to have the RPi to play with until the D3 release

165*** and W/C 30/04/12 was my order.

New date is 28/05/12 - so considering that the shipments were delayed for a month that makes sense, yeah it sucks but hey, at least we're getting info now

Ordered around 10am on Pi day and just received the date of 21/5.

I am ultra happy as I was truely expecting it to be the end of June for me, so I am not complaining.

Hi Franxois.

I am in the same boat as you.  fr.farnell.com as well, but ordered at 8:14 UK time - about 2 hours after you.  I guess this is the email being sent to non-uk customers and we may get a pleasant surprise.  I really hope given the dates for orders at the same time as me, i hope i will get it in May.

fingers crossed - eternally optimistic.
