Quote: "Dear JAKE,

Breakthroughs. Exhilarating, but rarely without hiccups.

A few days ago, the Raspberry Pi Foundation announced a small manufacturing delay. A component in the Pi is being reinstalled. In the grand scheme it's small potatoes – but we know it's frustrating for Farnell element14 fans and customers.

Farnell element14 will deliver your Pi to you around end of May.

We're a proud partner of the Pi, and the sense of adventure it's bringing to the tech community. We've all come to feel part of the Foundation's big project to bring computing to all. Online, the response has been superb.

Thanks for your patience and understanding so far. Enjoy your Pi.

My original dispatch date was April 14th. Anyone else have this e-mail?

EDIT: I am not moaning by any means, in fact I still maintain that due to the demand, this is pretty good!

Sorry, makes sense really, I just haven't had much time today so I just saw the email and immediately posted it.

Perhaps Admin or one of the Mods could close or delete this thread, as we really don't need another one on this topic?

Yep closing thread as there are many threads discussing delivery dates from Farnell/RS.  Long story short, keep patient, and wait a few days before checking your account on-line and making sure that this date is legit and not a glitch in their system.
