I found this quite an interesting article as I have been wondering for a while about moving away from MSN Messenger/Windows Live Messenger to some more secure platform.
MSN Plus does have an encryption plugin but you have to use it for all contacts which is no good if someone else does not have MSN Plus or the script installed.
The website for it is at: https://crypto.cat/
If you want to join a test go to: https://crypto.cat/?c=raspi
as for what this has to do with raspi:
He's also planning to purchase some of the US$25-$35 Raspberry Pi mini-computers under development by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Tiny packages containing Raspberry Pis and the Cryptocat server software could also be sent to regions in need. As an alternative, nongovernmental organizations could set up their own Cryptocat servers, Kobeissi said.
"That's why the code is open source," he said. "Anyone can download [the code] and set up their own server."
Which I have to admit is quite a noble aim compared to most of us who want to use it as a media player etc.
