Hey Liz - just remembered that you have your other blog (gastronomydomine) to host as well - how about making an official RaspberryPie recipe?

Would love that.

Of course, under the spirit of Free Open Source Stuff, you could make it under GPL and publish yours as the v1.0 and let others collaborate!

Just a random morning thought, which I thought would fit in the requests category :3

My wife was actually noticing that there haven't been a lot of updates to your personal blog, and I told her that was just one more sacrifice you guys have been making for this project!

As long as it doesnt need maple syrup 150ml of that stuff costs more then a R-pi :S

It would be a hoot, when the schematics et al are published, to include an official pie recipe.

p.s. And listen to everyone complain that pie v2.0 should be sweeter, have less saturated fat, should daily complement your wardrobe and selection of mate.

Ingredients

1 pastry for 9-inch

4 cups (1 L) raspberries

1 cup (250 mL) sugar

3 tbsp (45 mL) flour

1 tbsp (15 mL) lemon juice

1 tbsp (15 mL) butter

Milk or cream

1 sprinkle sugar

Preparation

Line 9-inch (23 cm) pie plate with pastry.

In large bowl, combine raspberries, sugar, flour and lemon juice. Fill pastry shell with raspberry mixture; dot filling with butter.

Moisten edges of bottom crust. Cover with top crust. Trim and flute edges. Cut steam vents. Brush top with milk or cream; sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar.

Bake in 425°F (220°C) oven for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350°F (180°C) and bake for 45 to 60 minutes longer or until raspberries are tender, filling thickened and crust golden.

 

Delivery

Raspberries not available until May 15

yes of-course it will make you run to windows, that where they cool don't they?
