M.2 Hat for Raspberry Pi 4

Sun Sep 08, 2019 4:15 am

I am curious to know if there is a M.2. Hat for the Raspberry Pi 4. For the Rock Pi 4B I have seen a video for a M.2 Hat. Would this hat work for the Raspberry Pi 4?!

There are M.2 HATs but they only work with M.2 cards that use SATA. There is an onboard USB to SATA adapter so you need to connect it to one of the USB ports. The adapter doesn't support NVMe.

No. The M.2 extender board connects to a special socket with PCIe on the bottom of the Rock Pi 4.
