By the above do you mean the RUN header and TV (out) connector pins?
(to the right of the "small raspberry logo" see my photo's here: http://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi ... ersion_1.3)
Trev.
Still running Raspbian Jessie or Stretch on some older Pi's (an A, B1, B2, B+, P2B, 3xP0, P0W, 2xP3A+, P3B+, P3B, B+, A+ and a B2) but Buster on the P4B's. See: https://www.cpmspectrepi.uk/raspberry_pi/raspiidx.htm

I expect the OP is referring to the underside of the board. The 8 "fingers" between 2 larger squares. J5 on a Zero v1.2 and v1.3.

It's for testing at the production stage.

Possibly a debug port used during development.

It's the videocore JTAG connector, used for development and test of the firmware and possiblly (not sure on this) for factory programming purposes. Afaict it's of no real use without access to internal broadcom documentation.

Pretty sure the same connector has been used on all Pi models since the B+ (the original A/B use a pin header).
