likely that it tries to update the kernel as well? you probably should freeze the kernelpackage (apt hold ...) to ensure it doesn't mess around?

Btw. does the RPT plan to maintain a 64bit kernel on one of your repositories? At least you maintain a 64bit kernelconfig.. so it won't hurt you much.

Sadly (painfully), no.

I cannot even get this to boot at all anymore - even though Raspbian still boots.

It's hit or miss whether I get the rainbow screen then it just goes into power save mode on my monitor.

Not sure what has gone wrong with my Pi4? I already tried the recovery and get a flashing green light - and Raspbian still boots - just not this Ubuntu server preinstalled image.

EDIT: is finally back - seems it uses a specific HDMI out contrary to Raspbian. Probably helps to unplug any USB devices too.

Thats wonderfull News!!. Im no Ubuntu fan, but still i think its like ice-cream, some flavors you like and some you dont. With 4Gb memory i hope we will see more advanced linux distros for the RPI in the future
