Alright,  please switch to something decent.. this is really slow and such a waste of whitespace.

Web design 101..

phpBB is a superior alternative to "Wordpress forum plugin_001".

Here is why.

This is probably nothing to do with the software as such. It is entirely a css matter.  Fixing it is fairly simple if you have access to the css files. Here's a start.

Style.css, line 74: Remove max-width: 1000px;

Style.css, line 113: Change to width: 95%

That appears to be all you need to make a topic page variable width. There may be other requirements for other pages, and you'd have to test carefully.

I actually prefer it as is. It's easier to read the forums when they are centered on screen.

Optimal line length for readability is around 60 to 70 character per line, which fits reasonably with what this site does.

So do you want the Raspberry Pi or the Forums to get tweaked?  I'm just asking because there is only so much time to go around.  They are preping for a product launch, plus all these people work full time day jobs.

And, this thread is being closed because it isn't the first time this has been brought up.  I can't speak for what will get tweaked or fixed around here, but I can say that it won't happen until after the R-Pi launch.
